Why Now?
Felicity-Franklin School District has a revenue shortage caused by a few factors - the state funding model was changed, student enrollment is at an all-time low, and public utility revenue is an unreliable source of local revenue due to devaluation. The last operating levy was passed more than four decades ago in 1977.

What Will This Cost?
If the levy passes homeowners will pay approximately $25.96 a month per $100 thousand of market value - which is less than a dollar a day. Money generated from the levy will be used for everyday operating expenses such as personnel, curriculum, utilities, technology, supplies, capital, etc.

Fiscal Emergency?
If the levy fails, the district plans to continue to try to pass the levy because the next step would be that the State of Ohio will declare a Fiscal Emergency in our district. Property values will fall and the educational opportunities for students will not be the same as what we have now.
